Fantastic cottage mountain view Galdhøpiggen/Lom

The cottage is spacious and well equipped which provides good opportunities for a fantastic holiday summer and winter. It has panorama mountain view and is right next to the national park and Galhøpiggen at 1000 meters above sea level. There are 3 bedrooms with high quality double beds and two single beds in the hall. Bathroom with shower and a room with bathtub. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for those who love food. Two large terraces with great views to the 2000 meters mountains. The space Bathroom with shower and laundry room with bathtub. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is plenty of space around the table for those who like to cook with an open kitchen solution. Two large verandas with great views of the mountains with several peaks over 2000 meters above sea level. You can also walk up to Raubergstulen to enjoy a better dinner or have a drink in the lovely mountain-inspired large living room/reception. It is also possible to swim in the Raubergstulsvannet right above the cabin. Bed linen and towels must be brought. There are three double beds (180*200) and single duvets (90*220) and pillows, plus two single mattresses. Bed linen can be rented on request. You have to bring your own towels and bed linens. This is due to the fact that it is far from the cabin to the nearest power transformer (power grid) There are countless opportunities for mountain hikes and child-friendly trips in the area. You can drive all the way up to the cabin. There is an electric car charger (Tesla or other electric cars) at the cabin. It is voluntary to have visits from animals such as sheep and cows as there is a fence with a gate around the cabin. We recommend closing the gate in summer when the animals are grazing. Other things to note In the summer and early autumn there are sheeps and sometimes sheeps in the area from Raubergstulen close by. The sheeps enjoy the grass inside the fence, and when we a few times have had a visit it can take a while before the sheep leave. To avoid visitors we recommend to close the gate. After first of October until sommer the gate is left open. You have to bring your own towels and bedsheets. Skiing from the cabin: There are ski tracks just above the cabin where the road turns right. The ski track goes to Visdalen. It's also possible to go randonee or split board skiing from Raubergstulen hotel 5 minutes from the cabin and upwards towards Juvasshytta following the winter closed road or scooter tracks. Cross-country skiing, splitboard, or randonee from the cabin: Just above the cabin where the road turns right is the uphill slopes from Bøverdalen sports team. They drive up tracks in Visdalen, and we also tend to walk up by Raubergstulen where there is a flat and nice view. On the randonee we walk a little up the road towards Raubegstulen also there is often a scooter spa that you can follow or you walk on the road up towards Juvasshytta and further towards Porten and Galdhøpiggen. Other nice walks nearby are the Loft or inwards in Leirdalen up to Leirvassbu which is located along by Sognefjellsveien not so far to drive from the cabin. At Sognefjellet there are also many opportunities from Songnefjellshytta when the road is opened.
