Perron1 (entire cottage with air conditioning/private entrance)

Next to our 1904 house on the outskirts of Gasselte is the fully furnished guest house that is entirely at your disposal. You can enjoy the tranquility of Drenthe in various nature reserves, but you are also close to the tourist villages of Borger and Gieten, with restaurants and shops, and activities such as golf and swimming. The price includes bed linen, made beds, towels, kitchen linen and final cleaning!! (no breakfast!) The space Our lovely place is quietly located at the end of a cul-de-sac, on the former Assen-Stadskanaal railway line. The railway was established in 1904 and served as passenger transport until 1948. Until 1970, goods were still transported, but eventually the station and the railway line were demolished. In the landscape, it is still clearly visible where the track ran. This is now a hiking trail. Our house was part of the station and at the time served as a foreman's house. The name of the guesthouse, Perron 1, refers to the past of this beautiful place. Perron 1 is directly on various cycling and hiking routes, and there are many possibilities in the nature reserves and forests around the corner, such as Hamerlanden, Drouwenerzand and National Park Drentsche Aa. In the Gasselterveld and 't Nije Hemelriek, you can enjoy swimming. The cities of Groningen, Assen and Emmen can be reached within 30 minutes (by car and public transport), places like Stadskanaal, Zuidlaren and Veendam are 15 minutes away. Guest access You will have the entire guest house (with private entrance) at your disposal. The guesthouse is connected to our house by a glass lock, but separated by a door. Your own garden is separately fenced, so our dogs are not a burden to you. They are sweet dogs who like to ask for attention, so they will definitely welcome you! You can enjoy the sun in the garden and on your own terrace! Other things to note The guesthouse consists of a living room, bathroom (shower and toilet), kitchenette and a bedroom. There is no separate sink, you brush your teeth in the kitchenette. Via the staircase, you access the upper floor where the bedroom is located. On one side of the staircase is a double bed with two mattresses of 90 x 200 and on the other side of the staircase two single beds of 90 x 200. The cottage is heated by central heating and downstairs with underfloor heating. For the hot summer days, there is air conditioning. There is a regular (filter) coffee maker, a Senseo, kettle, microwave/oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment and electric grill plate. There is also a double (induction) hob and a single (induction) hob to heat up something or prepare a simple meal. There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity and takeaway options. Less than 300 meters away is restaurant de Wiemel where you can eat both indoors and outdoors on the terrace. Highly recommended!
