Beech Cottage is nestled in the lovely Peak District village of Youlgreave. This Grade 2 listed cottage has been refurbished to a high standard. Walks & bike riding are on the doorstep. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Matlock and Ashbourne near by. It has 3 pubs, 2 shops and tea rooms. There is a wood burner, tv, wifi. Kitchen has breakfast bar & stools, dishwasher, washing machine & microwave & cooker, coffee machine. Free standing bath & separate Power Shower. South facing garden The space Beech Cottage has a lovely sitting room with wood burner (some wood provided) . Freeview TV with Netflix. Free WiFi. The kitchen has a Nespresso Coffee machine (some capsules provided). along with tea, coffee, milk and a treat ! Some wood is supplied but more can be bought from the Shop/Post Office in the village. Outside there are 2 table and chairs, one in an area for breakfast and the other for evening sun and a hammock. The luxurious bathroom has a beautiful free standing bath and a large separate power shower. Gorgeous Italian floor tiles with views across the countryside.. Towels supplied. Soap supplied but no shower gel. The bedroom has a wardrobe with enough hanging and shelf space for clothes etc.. All bed linen, extra pillows & blankets supplied. Anti allergy bedding can be supplied. Hairdryer too. Guest access Front door access from the street and access around the rear of property for bikes and coming home from a countryside walk with muddy boots. Other things to note There is a lot happening in Youlgreave and surrounding areas. 3 great pubs. One does takeaways! They have sitting out areas too. The village shop is opposite the cottage which is well stocked with groceries, fruit and veg, meats, bakery, hardware, freezers etc..Apart from everything listed on what I supply please bring your own supplies. Next door is the post office with newspapers and alcohol ! Logs and kindling too. Plenty of walks & cycling from the front door. Lathkill Dale. Chatsworth House & Gardens and Haddon Hall are a 10/15 minutes drive away. The Monsal Trail, great for walks and cycling near Bakewell 10 minutes away. Buxton Spa town 20 minutes drive. Ashbourne and Matlock 20 minutes drive.
