Blenheim Palace, Churchill’s birthplace, is within 2 miles and you can enjoy wandering the extensive grounds, visiting the palace or attending one of their many events throughout the year. You can also visit Churchill’s final resting place in the church grounds in nearby Bladon, the next village. There are many beautiful circular walks from The Studio in the Glyme and Windrush Valley, and many lovely lakeside walks nearby. The village of Woodstock is 3 miles away and you can discover many independent shops, pubs and eateries. The charming market town of Witney is 8 miles and has an abundance of shops and restaurants catering for everyone. For shopaholics, no visit here is complete without a spree at nearby Bicester Village, which is a designer outlet. The historic university city of Oxford is close by and can be accessed by train or the nearby park and ride.
