The space Designed to seamlessly blend with the traditional charm of rural Crete, Phaistos Villas is a complex of three beautifully crafted, 100m² stone-built villas, each spread over two levels. Together, they accommodate up to 13 guests, offering a perfect mix of comfort, style, and authenticity. On the ground floor, each villa features an inviting living room with a sofa bed for an additional guest, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, and a stylish dining area—creating a cozy and functional space for relaxation. Upstairs, two elegantly designed bedrooms provide a peaceful retreat—one with a double bed and the other with two singles. The space is complemented by a fully equipped bathroom, an additional WC, and a large modern shower room, all designed in soft, muted tones to enhance the airy and tranquil ambiance. Outside, guests can soak in the breathtaking views of the Messara Valley and enjoy exclusive access to a private swimming pool, making Phaistos Villas the ideal destination for an unforgettable Cretan getaway. Guest access Guests have full access to , as well as the common areas of the three villas and the beautiful 40m² pool (1.5m depth), centrally located within the complex. Other things to note Some of the services that can be arranged for the guest in order to make the stay comfortable and memorable are: - Airport Transfer. Sivas is about 60 kms away or about one hour drive from Herakleion International Airport “N. Kazantzakis”. Transportation from and to the airport can be arranged at a fixed price prior to your flight. - Car Rental . Car reservation can be arranged prior to your trip. Booking ahead is highly advisable for the months of July and August. - Bicycle Rental. If you feel fit and energetic you may opt to explore the area by bicycle and we will be happy to make necessary reservations for you. Bicycles for kids are available as well, if timely requested. - Bike Riding. A great way to explore places where cars cannot go, at least without sustaining severe damage on the back roads of the countryside, and for all the bike fanatics amongst you we will be pleased to make arrangements for touring around the valleys and the gorges on motorbikes. Please contact us well prior to your visit for prices and availability. - Cleaning, Washing and Ironing Services. Since the villas are self-catered, there will be an extra cost for housekeeping should you desire such services during your stay. Two sets each of bed linen and towels per bedroom will be provided during your stay. Additional sets will be available to you upon request. A washing machine, an iron and an ironing board are at your disposal at the villa but in case you do not want even to think about such chores, a cleaning lady may be hired to take care of them for you. - Cooking Course (local / traditional) Bring back tasteful memories of your unforgettable vacations to Crete and surprise your friends by cooking for them traditional recipes. This mountainous region which lies north of Sivas that the ancient Minoans considered it as sacred, will offer an amasing experience to those who will try to know it better. Impressive landscapes of wild beauty, deep caves, karstic formations, deep gorges, small plateaus, pine and oak woods, villages at the end of the cliff, bare alpine zones constitute the scenery of this unique mountain. Phaistos villas is happy to announce its cooperation with a professinal hiking company based just a 10 minutes drive away from the villas. Whether you are interested in short family walks to get to know better the area you are spending your vacation or longer walks with your friends to explore the beauty of this mountain region, the professional guides of our partners, Στην Ύπαιθρο/Outdoors (Wanderausfluege), will help you organise it and walk you around. Στην Ύπαιθρο/Outdoors (Wanderausfluege), will pick you up (up to 14 people max) at Phaistos villas, drive you to the starting point of the excursion and return you safely at the end of an incredible hiking experience. Hiking routes for kids over 10 years old are also available. If interested please let us know as soon as possible because demand for these excursions is relatively high especially during the summer season. - Yoga. Enrich your vacation time at Phaistos villas and take advantage of the opportunity to learn Yoga or if you are already practicing to enhanse your experience. Yoga will help you to let go of the everyday stress and will lead you to more relaxation, happiness and better health. Who knows? you may want to continue with Yoga when you go back home. Phaistos villas is very proud and happy to cooperate with a certified and experienced Yoga teacher who is giving Yoga lessons based on Swami Sivananda's teachings and the so-called Rishikesh-series, which is connected to specific breathing exercises, meditation and deep relaxation methods. Additionally you have the chance to learn about a more meditational type of Yoga called Yin Yoga, which was highly influenced by Paul Grilley. The course in offer is both for begginners as well as experienced yoga students and of course the individuality and unique skills of every student will be taken into account. The training itself it is held at the patio area of the villas. Please note that a Yoga session at one of the beautiful sandy beaches during the early evening hours may be held after request. The unique energy of Crete's nature will make the Yoga beach session a very special experience. Each Yoga lesson lasts 90 minutes, starts at 08:00 in the morning and can be held in English and German. Yoga mats and all additional equipment are provided.
