B&B Room at Ledges Retreat Guest House - Sleeps 2

Ledges Retreat is a small guest farm situated in a picturesque valley in the Northern Drakensberg, close to the world famous Royal Natal National Park (+/- 20 mins by car) We have 3 double rooms and one twin room, each with private bathroom with bath and shower. Rooms include a TV (DSTV with selected channels), small refrigerator, kettle with tea/coffee supplies, heater/fan. Rooms serviced daily. Laundry can be done for a small fee. Breakfast included in per person rate (R900pppn). Free WiFi The space We are located towards the end of a district road, below the mountains, and so are blessed with beautiful views. The setting is very peaceful and scenic. The Putterrill Spruit runs along the bottom of the property and guests can take walks along it and enjoy the calm and serenity of the countryside. There are also numerous rock pools along the spruit which are great for a refreshing swim! Our place is a great spot for guests to unwind, and it makes a great base from which to take day trips out to the Royal Natal National Park. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, including the swimming pool in summer. There is also a lovely walking trail along the river on the neighbouring property that guests are welcome to stroll or run along. We also have a communal kitchen/dining/BBQ area for our B&B guests' use should they wish to cook their own meals. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer for guests to store their groceries, or they can make use of the small refrigerator in their room if they prefer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove/oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. There is lots of beautiful countryside for you to enjoy long walks or runs. Passes for mountain biking can be obtained at All Out Adventures and a number of trails begin right on our doorstep. During your stay Either myself or our receptionist, Nokwe, will be on hand to welcome you when you arrive. Other things to note Breakfast is included in the per person rate of R900pppn. Dinner is available for R180pp. Set meal... hearty comfort food with pudding after. Booking essential the day before or before 11am on the day. We are close to the Tower of Pizza restaurant for lunch and dinner (8kms, closed on Mondays); as well as the Joker Bistro and Bakes pub and restaurant at Hlalanathi Berg Resort - open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
