Gotland farm from the 1800s

Large and genuine Gotland farm that has been carefully renovated. The farm consists of two residential buildings; the main building of about 250 sqm with 5 bedrooms and a fully equipped guest house of about 50 sqm. The third house is a charming wood-fired bakery. It is possible to book only the guest house (suitable for 4-6 people) - send us a request if you are interested. The space This Gotland farm, built between 1809 and 1890, has been carefully renovated over the past ten years and preserved old details such as wooden floors and a wood-burning stove. The farm is perfect for several families who want to enjoy a holiday week together. With its large halls and social areas combined with 5 bedrooms, it provides space for both community and privacy. There are 8 fireplaces/tiled stoves, 2 of which are in use at the moment. The courtyard is large and both in front of and behind the house. At the back, there is a stone-paved patio with beautiful views of the forest and horse pasture. At the back, there is also an outdoor kitchen with a wood-fired grill. About 5 km bike ride away is wonderful Kovik where you can both swim and watch the sun set in the west and a nice sandy beach in Västergarn. Until the fall of 2020, we had problems with the water being discolored and smelling bad. A new system with a larger water heater, pump and various filters has been installed and since then the water has been without remark. Guest access You have access to the whole house, including the guest house and garden. The bakery can be used, but requires good knowledge of how to fire a bakery oven. Other things to note Pillows and duvets are provided for all beds. Please bring your own bed linens and towels (can be rented for a fee of SEK 200/person, please let us know in advance if so).
