Padel on the farm 🎾 Fancy trying something different during your stay? Our two covered padel courts are available to hire. Book through Playtomic, with rackets and balls available to borrow free of charge. It’s a great way to add a little activity to your countryside escape! Families welcome There’s lots of space for children to enjoy the outdoors, and we have a selection of indoor and outdoor toys available. A travel cot can be hired, and highchairs are available on request. Please give us 48 hours’ notice if you need children’s equipment. Dogs Up to two dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Please add them to your booking. We ask that dogs stay downstairs and cannot be left unattended. Please note that the fenced garden is not secure enough to contain dogs. What’s included Free Wi-Fi, towels, bed linen and hairdryers are provided, along with a few essentials to get you started, including tea, coffee, washing-up liquid and washing powder. Heating is provided by our biomass boiler. Explore the area We’re surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire countryside, with fishing lakes and golf courses nearby. The lovely market town of Howden is just 10 minutes away, and we’re also conveniently located for Goole, Brough, Selby, Doncaster and Drax Power Station. The cottage is particularly popular with business and contract workers looking for a comfortable home-from-home while working in the area. Travelling with a group? This listing is for one cottage, but we have three cottages on the farm. Book all three together and you can accommodate up to 12 guests, while still having your own individual cottage. Guest access You have access to the large grassed area in front of your cottage as well as your own private garden in front of your cottage. The garden to the right at the other side of the fence is private. Other things to note We are a working arable farm. No livestock but there will be tractors working in the fields sometimes. 2 dogs are very welcome, please let us know if you are bringing a dog. Please keep them downstairs and not in the bedrooms. We also ask that you don’t leave your dog unattended in the cottage. 2 padel courts are available to hire on site. We do have CCTV in operation for the farm and cottages.
