Gite Vue des Montagnes is a recently renovated cottage which sleeps a maximum of 6 people. It has French TV and WIFI available. It is set in two hectares of grounds in an extremely peaceful location with amazing panoramic views of the Pyrenees. They can be rented individually or together. It benefits from generous sized bedrooms upstairs and a relaxed, open plan layout downstairs. It has a with wood burning stove, English satellite TV and WiFi internet access. It is very family-friendly with a UV-treated pool (shared with the owners, though we don't use it much when gite guests are here) enclosed to French safety standards, swings, and a large, netted trampoline. Children's toys and books are provided. Local attractions include the mediaeval towns of Mirepoix and Carcassonne, some of Europe's largest caves, several beautiful, supervised swimming lakes, animal parks where you can variously see eagles, wolves, bison and reptiles - there is also a safari park in Toulouse. Nearby you can take part in kayaking, canoeing, horse or pony riding or a 'parcours dans les arbres' (zip wires, rope ladders, etc) suitable for children as young as three.
