The space The log cabin is situated on the sunny side in Molln, amidst the stunning Kalkalpen National Park area, in a very tranquil location. The fully equipped apartment on the upper floor, covering approximately 90m², offers a spacious and modern living space with a small balcony, a large dining-living area (complete with a fully equipped kitchen), 1 bedroom (featuring a double bed 180x200cm and a single bed 90x200cm), and a bathroom for exclusive, private use! On the ground floor, the house includes the entrance area, a guest toilet, and a laundry room. While sitting on the balcony, one can literally breathe in the beauty of nature. There's something for everyone! For nature lovers and those seeking relaxation, the accommodation and its immediate surroundings provide everything you need. Even a hiking trail begins directly from the house, leading to beautiful spots and mountain huts. Just behind the house lies a natural mixed forest with large, old trees. Guests looking to take a break from city life or everyday routines, nature enthusiasts, or adventure seekers will find plenty to enjoy here. For individuals seeking a quiet place to work, the accommodation offers fast Wi-Fi and excellent mobile phone reception! Additionally, there are three nearby ski resorts (Hinterstoder, Wurzeralm, Kasberg, each about a 35-minute drive away), extensive opportunities for cross-country skiing, and a children's ski lift in the village (a 10-minute drive away). The historic town of Steyr and the picturesque village of Gmunden on Lake Traunsee in the Salzkammergut region are fantastic excursion destinations. But what makes this apartment truly special is the host, a passionate beekeeper and ranger. Right on the property stands a large apiary with real beehives. In the basement, there's a room for honey extraction. Upon request, the host David will be delighted to show you the bees and tell you everything you want to know about bees and honey. And of course, for all new guests, there's a jar of honey for breakfast : ) Guest access You'll drive up to the garage using your car, where you can also turn around. From there, guests can access the accommodation through the regular house entrance. Inside the house, guests will use the key found in the key safe located to the left of the front door. The code for the key safe will be provided a few days before your arrival. Once inside the house, guests are kindly asked to use the wooden staircase, without outdoor shoes, to access the upper living area - house slippers are provided, of course. Other things to note Gas Grill: Feel free to use the gas grill in the outdoor area. The host kindly asks guests to heat the grill up again after use and then brush the cast iron grate with a wire brush to remove any dried-on grill residue. Bees: Since the landlord is a beekeeper, there is a large bee house with beehives on the property. However, the flight path is away from the accommodation and usually does not affect guests. Upon request, the host will provide a brief tour of the bees and try to answer all your questions. Radiators: There is no air conditioning in the house, so tenants must adjust the radiators in the rooms accordingly. Heating is provided via a modern central heating system using firewood or pellets. In the laundry room, there is also the option to dry wet clothing or ski boots. Washing Machine: The accommodation even has a washing machine and ironing facilities for free use! Dogs: Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the attic. However, you are welcome to visit my other listings with the name "Parterre im Blockhaus zur Wabe" or "Blockhaus zur Wabe". Are You Alone? You will be alone in your Mansarde during your stay, and most of the time, no one else will be in the rest of the house. As the landlord, I only occasionally have work to do in the basement or outdoor area, but I always stick to regular working hours. Once a booking is made for one of my listings, all others are automatically blocked, ensuring that you are guaranteed to be alone in the house! I don't rent out multiple listings simultaneously! Self-Service Cabinet: You can buy the many high-quality products that you may already know from our website meinhonig or from one of our markets or trade fairs during your stay in our self-service cabinet. Shopping Facilities: The nearest shopping facility is about 3 kilometers away by car in the village of Molln. There you will find a Spar, Nah und Frisch, bank, and pharmacy. Bee Tour: As an apiarist, farmer, forester, and ranger, you are welcome to contact the host and arrange a personal bee tour with him.
