Besseggen and Galdhøpiggen (2469 m above sea level) are very popular hikes. The hiking terrain in Kleppelia stretches up towards the tree line, to the highest point on Bringsfjellet, Olashovda (1248 masl). The adventurous house is a large single-family home on two floors. Floor area of 100 square meters on each floor. Private entrance from large courtyard, framed by old timber houses. The house is timber and has newly refurbished bathrooms and bedrooms. 1st floor. The house has a new bathroom downstairs with shower (incl. Towel holder with heat). Two great living rooms and kitchen. The Polar living room is decorated with deer antlers on the wall and round tables with chairs. The large living room has a large long table in the living room with 16 chairs. Kleberstein fireplace. (Wood behind the fireplace). New Lounge sofa with table and chairs. Old nice bed in the corner of the living room. The kitchen has a kitchen table and six chairs (room for 8 people). The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, combined fridge with freezer, incl. ice dispenser. The kitchen has a coffee press (coffee press), coffee machine (whole beans) and tea maker, kettles, cutlery and kitchen utensils. Large workbenches and plenty of room in the kitchen. The kitchen has a two-storey wood stove. 2nd floor. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. 2 new double beds (180x200). New pillows and duvets. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, a sofa bed and a single bed. Bedroom 2 has got a double bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds. 1 cot (Spri Hel) can be placed in the bedroom. The bathroom on the 2nd floor has a toilet and sink, but no shower. Large cabinets for clothes and luggage. Plenty of room for storage. Drying rack. Guests can use the host's washing machine (incl. detergent). Vågå: Vågå municipality is beautifully situated in Gudbrandsdalen near the border of six national parks. Vågå is a perfect starting point for experiences and activities related to nature and culture. Distances by car: -Vågåmo shop, gallery, café, restaurant, (5 min) - Lom (25 min) - Otta (25 min) - Besseggen (50 min to Gjendebåten). - Galdhøpiggen (60 min to Juvasshytta or Spiterstulen). - Høvringen (30 mins.) - Rafting in Sjoa (various companies, approx. 30 min)⁷ Guest access In the yard, the tenant has outdoor furniture and a fire pit available. Trampoline and swing. The host also has a field and herb garden. If you want to dig your own potatoes for dinner, new potatoes are ready in early July. Also pick fresh herbs for your meal. The good country life gives you freedom, inspiration and rest! Great opportunities to use the center of Vågå with restaurants, art exhibition, shops, ice bar, sauna, canoe, kayak and paddleboard for rent. A lot of good fishing waters nearby. Hunting is also popular.
