Beautiful Grade II country cottage

Spring Cottage is a 17th Century building, situated in the heart of the South Downs, West Sussex. Only 1.5 hours out of south London it is the perfect country retreat - open fires, large dining room, pub down the road, long walks into downs.... The space Spring cottage was built in the 17th century and all the features of a period property have been maintained -- big fireplaces, wooden beams, stone flags in the kitchen. Please note - As an old house, it has some quirky features such as light switches in unexpected places and old flagstone floors that are not all perfectly even. It’s also a family home - with toys, and books, and eclectic crockery. In short, Spring Cottage is not a hotel - it’s a home. Singleton is a beautiful little village located in the heart of the South Downs. Local attractions include Goodwood (which is right next to the cottage), beautiful stretches of open coast at the West Witterings (where you can go kite surfing, wind surfing etc.), local galleries and theatres including Pallant House and Chichester Festival Theatre. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and garden which includes four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room, sitting room, playroom, and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with all that you might need and guests are free to use the games, toys and DVDs provided. There is a barn where guests can access outdoor furniture etc - keys are by the backdoor. Other things to note Please note that there are three good size double bedrooms, plus one small room with bunk beds. We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs too -- but please note that the house is on a road. Please note that there are two bathrooms, one has a shower, the other a bath. ***Although it can sleep 8 it is a family cottage so therefore not suitable for parties.**
