Mule Room Suite is for guests looking for extended stay, short-term rentals without having to sign a contract. Perfect for traveling doctors and nurses, folks working in our area for short periods of time or are transferred to surrounding towns. Everything is included: dishes, linens, cable TV, wireless internet, laundry & maid service-private entrance, tiled bath, Mexican tile kitchen-the peace and quiet of the eastern North Carolina countryside. The space This private area has old pine floors, bead-board and tobacco stick ceiling, tiled bath, walnut dining table, and a kitchenette of rustic Mexican tile. Enjoy morning coffee just outside your door on the brick patio/breezeway. Listen to the sounds of summer or enjoy a fire in the fireplace. Coffee and tea will be in the room when you arrive along with and dishes and utensils you will need. Guest access Guests can sit in the breezeway just outside the Mule Room and enjoy the wood burning fireplace. Guests can also roam the landscaped grounds, the farm and fish in the lakes. There is a coin laundry on the premises. Other things to note My father built the Pack House Barn in 1935, where the Mule Room Suite is located. All the old outbuildings are still on the farm and guests can wander around and explore.
