The space The apartment "Ena" is a beautifully furnished apartment in the traditional Engadine house (a young guest enthusiastically said on arrival to his parents: "Mama, we live in the Schellenurslihaus!" Schellenursli is a well-known Swiss children's history.) The Chasa Diala is rated 5 stars by Switzerland Tourism. Round entrance gates, circular arches in the apartment, an open fireplace and fantastic views of the Engadine mountains and down to the village characterize the large apartment. The apartment has a 27 sqm south-west balcony, a 60 sqm living room, 3 bedrooms (for 4 - 8 people) and 2 bathrooms/toilet. The apartment is newly developed and lovingly and luxuriously furnished. On the walls there is the saying "At ferma un mumaint, il prescha dal muond nu't renda cuntaint". This is the old Lower Engadine Romanesque dialect and reads: “Stop for a moment. The rush of the world does not give you satisfaction." At the northern facade we had a new sgrafitto created by a regional artist: "Il mumaint es il rai da l'eternita": the moment is the king of eternity. The Chasa Diala conveys peace and total relaxation. The atmosphere is unique and relaxing (the location at an altitude of 1300 m also contributes to this). Chasa Diala is located on the hillside above the village Scuol. The Lower Engadine is a tranquil, scenic area. Old, sluggish farmhouses with graffiti on the façade and several castles (Tarasp Castle, Steinfels Fortress) characterize the area. Scuol was a famous spa town around the turn of the century, as more than 20 strong mineral springs spring up in the region. Just a few meters behind the Chasa Diala is the Vi-Quelle. You can always fill your fresh mineral water for home. The Chasa Diala is surrounded by a fragrant mountain garden with guardholder, larch and arven. It's the name of the "dialas", the mountain lakes of Scuol. According to legend, they live on the slope "Schinnas", which also houses the Chasa Diala. They are beautiful but bock-footed women helping the farmers. But if you annoy them, they will never disappear. Maybe you'll see the dialas in our backyard? Guest access The apartment is equipped as we as the owner would like our own. It is only used by guests. It has satellite TV, Blu-Ray DVD, a new kitchen with black granite cover and Sgrafitto paintings, a ceramic glass stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, food processor. So that you do not have to wash up continuously, glasses and dishes are available for 16 people. Since the apartment is located at the top of the slope, it is not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, we do not accept pets. But we're excited about kids as guests! Our guests have two large Davos sled available for free use and are also allowed to use a washing machine and dryer for a small fee. Other things to note We rent out the place for bookings of 4 days or more. In the high season in winter (Christmas/New Year and February to ca 10. March) we rent only from Saturday to Saturday.
