Beautiful countryhouse in south Iceland. Hot tub

HG-513. This is our country house and our second home located in the south of Iceland about 105 km from Reykjavik. Lovely house with great view located near the famous Mount Hekla and on the way to Fjallabak and Landmannalaugar. From June to Oktober our horses are right outside the house. Large terrace with gas grill and a jacuzzi hot tub. Bed sheets, towels, dish towels and table clots are included. Coffee, tee, milk and some spices. Free WiFi. Possible northern lights. The space Keys are in a key box at the door. On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and good closets. Then there is a loft with 2 single beds and floor mattresses if needed. Outside you have large terrace with gas grill and a hot tub/jacuzzi. Free WiFi, TV, CD, DVD and Bluetooth speaker. The Wifi router is the white one in the living room. Just turn the power on. The name and password are on this side and also on a note beside the router. You are welcome to enjoy the jacuzzi hot tub. Please always shower before entering the hot tub. Just release the two blue straps and remove the top gently. The tub is set to 40 degrees celsius but it usually drops a little after it is opened. You can of course change the heat on the main board and also use jet 1 and 2 if you like. The valves are best left alone. Make sure to close the tub after each use and always fasten the blue straps. Please adjust the heat to 40 degrees before you leave. Guest access Only the storage in the lobby is supposed to be closed but you will however find there a broom, bucket etc.. The radiators are set to 20 degrees Celsius. You can of course change that as you like but please adjust them to 20 degrees when you leave. Other things to note This beautiful country house is located in the south of Iceland. Traditional outside look however modern inside. Great view and scenery. The house is close to beautiful places such as the famous volcano Hekla, Búrfell and Þjófafoss waterfall. It is also perfect if you are heading to Fjallabak and Landmannalaugar our if you want to see and visit other attractions in south Iceland. The nearest town is Hella (35 km). The nearest gas station and grocery store is at the intersection of highway 1 and road 26 about 27 km away so we recommend that you take gas and buy everything you need before you arrive e.g. in Selfoss which you drive through on your way if you are arriving from Reykjavík or Hella if you are arriving from the east.
