Villa Kamáres gives you the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. You get a magnificent panoramic sea view and an addictive sunset. Placed on the hillside between beautiful mountains and only 200 meters from the beach, this place offers the opportunity to experience the authentic, Cretan village lifestyle. The villa houses up to four persons (and a baby). The space Welcome to Sfinari – a peaceful fishing village in the western part of Crete placed right between three of the best beaches in Europe. Our traditional Cretan villa comprises 130 m2 with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a large, combined kitchen and living room with access to both a morning terrace facing the sunrise, mountains and the sea, and a large main terrace giving you an amazing 180 degrees panoramic view overlooking Sfinari Bay, revealing a stunning sunset every evening. Each bedroom has air-conditioning units. The master bedroom has a double bed and the smaller bedroom has two separate beds. You will also find a travel cot for babies. The spacious and modern kitchen is equipped with a full size oven and PLEASE NOTE that there are only two hobs for cooking. The kitchen is therefore best suited for preparing simpler meals. The bathroom is very spacious and the cylindrical shower is decorated with a unique marble mosaic. The house also offers a small storage room where you can place your wardrobe and other belongings during your stay. In the backyard you will find a big garden with an old olive tree, figs, oranges, mandarins, lemons, lime, grapes, pomegranate, mulberries, a banana palm as well as beautiful flowers. From the villa it only takes five minutes to walk to the nearest beach. Wi-fi is included in the price. PLEASE NOTE: If you are looking for absolute quiet, this place might not be for you. You are close to other homes in this Cretan country village, so you may hear children at play, domestic animal sounds, dogs barking, neighbors going about their business (morning and evening), and family and friends enjoying each other’s company. But you will get a very local experience with lots of friendly people around. TAXES: Greece has introduced a climate resilience levy as of January 1st 2024. The climate resilience levy will be 15 € per night (not per person) for a detached villa over of 80 sq.m., from March till October. The tax should either be paid by the guest to the host during the stay at the chosen accommodation or through the booking platform. Since we are not present during your stay we have to collect the climate resilience levy through Airbnb when you book your stay. The tax is added the rental price and is shown as "Taxes" (15 € per night) when you are ready to place your booking. Please keep this in mind when you compare prices. You can park by the road near the villa and a little longer up the road by Niriida Rooms for longer and safer parking. Other things to note Practical info: - Remember to bring your own towels for the beach. - The stove only has two cooking hobs. - We replenish with two rolls of toilet paper, hand soap and garbage bags between stays. - all other essentials must be brought/acquired unless a previous guest has kindly left some behind.
