The apartment is on the top floor of a renovated Wilhelminian-era building and offers a charming loft character with views over the city. An ideal starting point to explore the north and the sea. See you soon in Bremerhaven. ♥ The space The apartment offered is located in the attic of an old building from the Gründerzeit [founders' period] renovated in 2018. With a lot of love for detail, the facade was restored with real stucco. The construction project was honored in 2018 as an example of a successful renovation with the Bremerhaven Renovation Award. The apartment captivates with its large windows, a skylight and numerous lamps, which always ensure a bright, friendly atmosphere in the apartment. Due to the location in a traffic-calmed area, hardly any street noise can be heard. Some features of the apartment: The apartment is equipped with modern ceiling heating, which also acts as air conditioning in summer. The large windows not only provide a lot of light, but can also create a pleasant breeze. Sleeping arrangements for 2x2 people (180x200 bed in one and 140x200 bed in the other bedroom) Large balcony (8 sqm) Wi-Fi (60 Mb/s), smart TV Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher A few honest words: Our apartment is not perfect and we are not a hotel. A lot of love and work has gone into the furnishing and design of this apartment and we are very happy with the result but as with any apartment there are also peculiarities that cannot be changed easily. We would like to point that out, we think that is fair. The apartment is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. The apartment has an innovative and environmentally friendly ceiling capillary heating system. Unfortunately, this technique is a bit sluggish, it can take a few hours for the apartment to cool down or heat up. Sometimes you hear a gurgling in the walls, this is also due to the heating. The apartment in the Goetheviertel is located in Bremerhaven-Lehe, one of the poorest districts in Germany. You can see its magnificent past, but you should also be aware that you will meet people from all social classes and cultures here. We believe that transparency is the best way to go and look forward to people who appreciate it. Guest access There is a kitchen, bathroom, balcony, a living room and a living/bedroom at your disposal. Other things to note Bed linens and towels: We provide one set of sheets and one small and one large towel per person. In addition, all sleeping places are always covered with fresh sheets, so you can divide up the existing sleeping places as you wish. Dish towels are also available. Laundry: We wash the laundry from the apartments in our small laundry outside the apartments. Bosch Series 8 washing machines and Bosch Home Professional heat pump dryers are used for this purpose. The machines are regularly maintained and cleaned. We consistently wash the laundry at 60 degrees with EcoVer color detergent. Blankets and pillows are also washed at regular intervals with a hygiene rinse.
