This is a lakeside property located at access point 55A on Lake Saganaga for the world famous Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. (BWCAW) Our lodge is a great place to learn the basics about camping and canoeing before you set off on a longer journey or as a staging point for experienced canoers. No matter what your level of experience we will help you get ready for your great wilderness adventure. You will need a car. You may bring your own boat or canoe or we can outfit you with what you need for your trip. IMPORTANT: You are permitted to use a 25 hp motor on Saganaga but you will need to get your permit at the forestry service in advance as they do book up. You can obtain Day Use Motor Permits for Saganaga at recreation.gov UPDATE 2021/02/05 : due to an issue in tax settings, a 4% Cook County Lodging Tax is not collected by Airbnb, and cannot be added to the tax collection section, so it's included as a 4% Community Fee.
