Unique Artists studio with a private garden.

Pewsey is situated between Stonehenge and Avebury and we are only 7 minutes walk from the railway station amid a wealth of outstanding countryside. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance in fact a car is not at all essential to your stay. Our little artists hideaway is a unique space full of quirky artworks in a garden of sculptures. It is very comfortable, warm and private and has easy access to all the amenities of the village. The space The studio is tucked away behind our house in a private wooded garden. It is warm and cosy and we have made it super comfortable with everything you need for a romantic get away or relaxing quiet time. Even though we are in the middle of a big village you can get straight out into the countryside from the door and you have your own magical wooded path that leads to your house. There is a table tennis and BBQ for your use and your own part of the garden with outside table and chairs. The kitchen has basic appliances, an electric hob and an oven/microwave. It is well equipped with cooking utensils and I also provide basic things like tea,coffee, oils , conserves, sauces and some herbs. In the summer there are fresh herbs in the garden that you are welcome to use. There are two reasonably priced restaurants nearby, an excellent Indian and a great cafe on the canal. If you want more choice Marlborough is 7 miles away and stuffed with restaurants including Rick Steines. There is a bus service that will get you to Stonehenge and Avebury, Silbury Hill and Kennet Longbarrow and also Salisbury and Marlborough so we are perfectly situated if you do not drive or have a vehicle. We are professional artists and work from home so we are mostly around if you need us but if you don't, you won't see us. You will see the chocolate boys, Twix and Wispa, two friendly jack Russell’s who will like to meet you. Guest access You have your own access and will not see us unless you need to. Other things to note . Well behaved, friendly dogs are welcome. Please ensure they have had a recent flea treatment. If for some reason they do not get on with our dogs or worry the chickens, I would ask you to keep them on a lead within the garden.
