A secluded, rustic wooden A-frame cabin in Magoebasfloof, filled with antiques, chunky blankets & fireplace. Nestled in a deciduous forest, overlooking Ebenezer dam & is safely tuck away on a quiet peninsula. Dirt road is well maintained & suitable for all types of cars. Conveniently situated only 3km from Haenertsburg. Ideal for a romantic interlude and outdoor enthusiasts. Launch site for boaters and fisherman. Suited for MTBiking, walkers, trial runners and birders. The space The cottage is an open plan kitchen-sitting room-dining room and fully equipped up to 4-6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with Queen size beds and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. 2 bathrooms, one on each floor. There is a large wooden deck with Weber for braais, no bond fires please. The A frame Log cabin has 3 levels with stairs. Situated on the of Ebenezer dam. Try out the private picnic spot, with braai and outdoor tables. The cottage is surrounded by trees providing the most stunning autumn colours, followed in Spring with Cherry blossoms, and Hydrangeas in summer. Planted by our grandmother in the 1950s, and part of our 4ha landscaped garden. This creates a very peaceful space. Guest access You have full access to a working berry farm, dam and 4Ha gardens. Hike, run, MTB, paddle from cottage, either alongside Ebenezer Dam or connect to the numerous cycling routes and well-marked hiking trials that traverse through the farm to connect with Haenertsburg and Magoebaskloof. Guests have access to slipway for motorboats. Other things to note We have cats who may decide to visit you. They were found as kittens on the mountain and we provided a sanctuary for them on farm. They are all old (>12years) and living their years in peace. We are also encourage wildlife to roam the woodlands and gardens . You will have regular sightings of animals and birds. Look out for the resident Fish eagles. Candles, gas stove, gas hob and Weber are available during load shedding or power outages.
