Cozy forest cottage with sauna, bath and large garden

Our vacation home is near the Maashorst, a beautiful nature reserve. This cottage belongs to Family Buitenhuys, our collection of creative vacation cottages. It has central heating and double glazing. In the garden there is a private sauna and in the garden room a clawfoot tub. The backyard borders the meadows. There is a washing machine. The house is located at the back of a small-scale holiday park. PLEASE NOTE: Max 4 adults and 1 baby. Suitable for one family (2 adults, 2 kids + 1 baby) The space Our family vacation home (67 m²) is part of Family Buitenhuys. We have renovated it ourselves to what it is now: a light and cozy open living/dining room, a cozy kitchen and a clawfoot tub in the garden room. Due to the many windows, the cottage is very light: outside comes inside. The compact kitchen is functional and has an electric stove, fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. There is a large dining table, and a high chair is provided. In the living room, there is a nice corner sofa overlooking the garden. There is a smart TV and under the sofa are drawers with toys and books. Between the sofa and the dining area is a pellet stove with a nice sitting/playing area in front of it. There is a cozy bedstead of 160 x 200 with a double mattress, lockable with curtains to the living area. In addition, there is a small separate children's bedroom with a double bed (140 × 200) and a children's bed/bunk bed directly above (only for children). A travel cot is available as a 5th sleeping place for a baby/small child. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. In the garden room, there is a clawfoot tub, overlooking the large private garden. In the small garden shed on the left in the back corner of the garden, you will find an infrared sauna. In the garden there is a small pond, completely fenced with a sturdy fence. There are sometimes moles in the garden, we leave them alone. The house is next to the countryside, on the outskirts of recreation park Park Blokland. Tents are not allowed on the grass, nor is a BBQ. We renovated the house ourselves. Not everything is sleek or perfectly finished, but it is made with love and that is how we like to keep it. Guest access All rooms are accessible except one of the sheds (this is private storage). To get to the cottage, first drive through the recreation park De Heidebloem to our park: Park Blokland. We have the right of way here, and you can use the swimming pool and the large playground of De Heidebloem. Bicycles can be rented at the reception of De Heidebloem. For questions, key issues and help around the cottage, you stay with us. The Heidebloem is a separate park and cannot support this. Other things to note Furnished for one family, max: 2 adults + 3 children Friends club? No problem! Maximum 4 adults allowed. 5 adults = unfortunately not allowed PLEASE NOTE: Please take into account the description regarding the sleeping places before booking. We try to indicate this as clearly as possible in the description. We cannot change the number on the website to 4 (adults), because then people with 3 children cannot book. Thank you for your understanding. No loud music, no parties, no smoking, no drugs and no animals. Do not invite additional people without consulting with us in advance. It is not allowed to stay in the house with more people than booked for. We ask that you treat our home with the same care as your own. Thank you.
