Cosy forest house with sauna, bath and large garden

Our holiday home is located close to the Maashorst, a beautiful nature reserve. This cottage belongs to Family Buitenhuys, our collection of special holiday cottages. It has central heating and double glazing. There is a private sauna in the garden and a free-standing bath in the garden room. The back garden borders the meadows. There is a washing machine. The house is located at the back of a small-scale holiday park. Maximum 4 adults and 1 baby. Suitable for one family. The space Our family holiday home (67 m²) is part of Familie Buitenhuys. We have renovated it ourselves into what it is now: a light and cosy open living/dining room, a cosy kitchen and a bath on legs in the garden room. The many windows make the cottage very bright: the outside comes inside. The compact kitchen is functional and has an electric stove, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is a large dining table, and a high chair is provided. In the living room there is a large corner sofa overlooking the garden. There is a smart TV and under the sofa are drawers with toys and books. Between the sofa and the dining area is a pellet stove with a nice sitting/play area in front of it. There is a cosy bedstee for two people (160 × 200), which can be closed with curtains. In addition, there is a small separate bedroom with a double bed (140 × 200) and a loft bed above it (only for children). A travel cot is available. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. In the garden room, the bath is on legs, overlooking the large private garden without a view. There is an infrared sauna in the garden shed. In the garden there is a small pond, completely enclosed with a sturdy fence. There are sometimes moles, we leave them alone. The house is located next to the countryside, on the outskirts of the Park Blokland recreation park. We renovated the house ourselves. Not everything is sleek or perfectly finished, but it is made with love and we like to keep it that way. Guest access All rooms are accessible except for one of the sheds (this is private storage). To get to the cottage, first drive through the Heidebloem leisure park to our park: Park Blokland. We have a right of way here and you may use the swimming pool and the large playground of De Heidebloem. Bicycles can be rented at the reception of De Heidebloem. For questions, key issues and help around the cottage, you stay with us. The Heidebloem is a separate park and cannot support this. Other things to note 4 adults max. No loud music, no parties, no smoking, no drugs and no animals. Do not invite additional people without consulting with us in advance. It is not permitted to stay in the house with more people than booked. We ask that you treat our home with the same care as your own. Thank you.
