Neels Cottage in Rocklands

Rustic, old-fashioned cottage - the home of Marijke and Lefras Olivier, a retired local farmer. Located in the heart of the Rocklands bouldering area. Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions. The space The cottage has two bedrooms which both have private bathrooms consisting of a shower, toilet and washbasin. The rooms share a lounge with a wood-burning fireplace, kitchen, inside and outside braai (barbeque) area, garden, the floating deck on the nearby lake, and a vegetable garden. The property is shared with a friendly Jack Russel called Ditto and a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Lupa who can either join guests or stay in their separate enclosure. The entire property is fenced to keep guest's pets from wandering. The area has its own supply of pure, fresh groundwater. Guest access Guests need to have their own car to get around as there is no public transport. Safe parking is available in front of the cottage. Other things to note Guests have access to a variety of beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside
