Fresh farm eggs, Wagyu meat and fresh garden vegetables in season and you never know what might be smoking in the smokehouse or for sale. LOTS of parking for trucks & construction equipment! The space This is a large open and roomy comfortable cabin where we want guests to feel at home . As we say " come on in and put your feet up!" There is a smart TV and wireless Wifi available. We have a big dining room table where many a good card game has been played! There is a $15.00 per night charge for more than 6 guests Guest access Guests have the entire house with it's large fenced yard (great for dogs), fire ring and Pit Charcoal Grill with smoker. Plenty of parking. Fishing off the dock or bank is included for the lodgers; If you would like to lease the whole lake with two boats and electric motors it is $60.00 / boat per day, You can decide on the ranch! Life preservers are a must. we have a release to be signed. We are a catch and release lake for anything over 15 inches- under that, pan fry it!! If a gate is open - leave it open , if it is closed - leave it closed please. Other things to note We love the peace and quiet and do not want parties or events ( other than birthdays) Please only the guests on the reservation stay in the house and fish in the lake. We are located in the Piney Woods, 15 minutes from 2 towns, Crockett and Grapeland. Davey Crockett Forest is minutes away as well as Piney Woods Texas Railroad Excursions. Salmon lake park in Grapeland is a great place to picnic, swim or listen to music during their festivals. There are many other historic places nearby. Please ask before entering pastures. Dock fishing is included in the price for the lodgers only. Boats, electric motors and whole lake fishing are not included in the lodge price as you get the whole lake to yourselves- just ask. We are set up for 6 guests, any above that number will be charged $15.00 / night / extra guest. This includes children of any age. We are ranchers and retire early, 9:30 - 10 pm so please inquire earlier or wait til morning to get an approval!!
