Detached house, close to the center of the village of Capestrano, located in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Lega National Park. The house can be used all year round because it is equipped with every comfort and can be used by couples, families or groups thanks to its large spaces. The location is strategic for visiting both the mountains and the sea, with an equal distance in both cases. There is also a small outdoor patio that can also be used for a pleasant aperitif outdoors. The space The house has been restored maintaining the original structure and materials, in full respect of nature and the environment. There are two bedrooms (one double and one single), a large room that also houses a sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and an oven. The house is completed by two bathrooms with shower, the one on the ground floor also equipped with a usable washing machine. Guest access My guests will have the entire house at their disposal. Other things to note The town of Capestrano is a small jewel to be discovered together with the beauty of its landscape and nature, good food and good wine. You will find the magnificent Castello Piccolomini, which welcomes visitors on the main square, the central nucleus of the village, embraced by a wall, access to which is allowed by five gates: Porta Parete, Porta del Sacco, Porta del Lago, Porta la Palma and Porta Castello also known as Porta la Macchia, from which you can discover unforgettable views over the Tirino valley and the Capodacqua lake. Do not miss a visit to the historic site of the Church of San Pietro ad Oratorum, the Convent of San Giovanni da Capestrano and the Church of Santa Maria di Loreto di Presciano. In the village there are inns, cellars and farms, as well as associations that allow experiential tourist tours on the lake, river or by bicycle in the surrounding area. The traditional recipes are cooked with the typical products that the land offers, such as beans, wild spinach, spelt, grass peas, honey, sheep meat, to arrive at the most precious products, such as saffron, truffles and mushrooms. Cheeses are also part of the typical cuisine of the village and specifically Pecorino. The ideal destination for those who are passionate about art, culture and nature and good food at the same time a stone's throw from the Gran Sasso and the Adriatic both less than an hour's drive from the town center and from the house.
