We are happy to welcome you to the picturesque spa town of Oberwiesenthal and say welcome and Glück Auf! The space A warm welcome or "Glück Auf!" as we say on our Airbnb rental page. You have come to the right place if you want to get to know the picturesque Erzgebirge and the highest city in Germany. Whether skiing or snowboarding, cross-country skiing or hiking and mountain biking through the most beautiful landscapes of the Erzgebirge. In the winter season, the spa town of Oberwiesenthal with the largest ski resort in East Germany, a halfpipe for snowboarders and trick skiers and over 30 km of cross-country ski trails is just the thing for winter sports enthusiasts or those who want to become one. The 1214-meter-high Fichtelberg is ideal for beginners and advanced skiers, whether large or small.  If you want to go even higher, the Keilberg, right next door, on the Czech side of the Erzgebirge, beckons. The shuttle transfer, from summit to summit through a combined ski pass makes the joint use of the ski areas uncomplicated. A visit to our picturesque small town is also highly recommended in the other seasons! The clear and allergy-free mountain air of the certified air spa will let you forget the stress of everyday life.  In all seasons you can really breathe, on the many different hiking routes, on a mountain bike tour or ride the "Monsterroller" from the summit to the valley!  Action for young and old makes our holiday area unforgettable for the whole family.  If you want to enjoy the scenery and the view in peace, "Flying Fox", the longest flyline in the world at 1500 meters long, offers the opportunity to do so.  If relaxation is more important to you than sporting ambitions, Oberwiesenthal has many interesting offers!  Use the famous Fichtelberg cable car, the oldest aerial cable car in Germany, for your summit ascent and enjoy an unforgettable view over the Erzgebirge.  If the weather is not so nice, the hours pass by with an extensive wellness program and a subsequent culinary delight with Erzgebirge cuisine and gray clouds are quickly forgotten. Centrally located and directly on the ski resort, our holiday home, built in 1929, is characterized by its typical Erzgebirge construction. Angled rooms, the combination of new and old furnishings, as well as the use of natural building materials such as natural stones for the foundation let you feel Erzgebirge coziness. The modern decor of the apartment lets you feel the comfort you are used to from home.
