Straupitz is an attractive village in the Spreewald with some points of interest as a Schinkel church, a mill and a restored granary, which houses an exhibition. There is a departure for typical Spreewald boat rides nearby. Bike tours can be strated directly from the apartment. Shops and restaurants are in the village (supermarket, bakery, butcher, hairdresser, pharmacy, doctor´s office ...).
