Description
The accommodation is an old farmhouse dating from 1800, composed of a renovated traditional house, a fully equipped barn and a renovated pigsty. Everything is done for an unforgettable stay: a large swimming pool and its pool house, a shaded garden, a terrace, a real library, a pool table... Take a walk around the area on the GR trails, visit the most beautiful villages in France, discover Périgord cuisine, go canoeing, go climbing... The space The house is composed of: - a large living/dining room with a village stone castle fireplace, a large farm table that can accommodate 14 people, 2 sofas including 2 convertible into beds - a traditional equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, etc.) with the necessary chinaware - a large master bedroom with a real library/dressing room, exposed stone walls (made up of stones from the castle in the neighboring village), 160 cm bed - 2 bedrooms with a 140 cm bed, French window, dressing room and mirror - 1 bedroom with twin beds of 90, dressing room and mirror - 1 outbuilding consisting of a bedroom with a 140 cm bed and an ensuite bathroom and toilet, overlooking the pool - a bathroom - a large 50 m2 game room with an approved pool table, a TV area, a desk, a stereo and a sofa bed - a covered bolet (balcony/terrace) typical of Périgord with table and chairs - a cellar with additional fridge and freezer - parking spaces, gate - 3 independent toilets - a terrace furnished with a large garden table - the pool with its pool house, sun loungers, garden furniture and a table - ping pong table, petanque balls, balls, rackets... - a terrace at the front of the house with table and chairs - a wooded garden Guest access Entire home, private pool and garden and parking spaces available Other things to note **During the July/August period, minimum stay is 7 nights with check-in/check-out on Saturday only.** Linens (sheets + towels) are optional: €15 per room for a weekend / €15 per person for a week. It is also possible for tenants to bring their own linens at no extra cost. From October 1 to May 31, a meter reading will be done at the beginning and end of the stay via the Linky connected meter. Electricity (necessary for heating) will be charged back to tenants based on Linky meter readings (price of the kWh rate of the base option). The house is also equipped with a pellet stove, a wood stove and a fireplace. We offer, as an option, pellets. The firewood is provided. Only the first bag of pellets is offered, we re-invoice the additional bags at the purchase price (between 6 and 10 euros depending on the market). From October 1st to April 30th, the pool will no longer be accessible due to wintering (provided that the water is at least 15°C, otherwise the electrolyzer cannot operate). At the departure of the tenants, a minimum cleaning is requested (vacuum cleaner, dishes cleaned and put away, beds undone, furniture replaced, etc.). Special attention is required for cleaning the oven, fridge, barbecue, fireplace and stoves. These must be returned in the same clean condition as on arrival. If this is not the case, cleaning will be charged in addition at €20/h. New: A home chef can prepare and serve a meal or prepare dishes to reheat, contact on request.
