Lewes: Quiet, spacious room; stove, eco-friendly.

Light, spacious double room in quiet street, 5-10 minutes walk from Lewes town centre. The space Dear Guest, welcome to my home in central Lewes. I look forward to meeting you 😊 PLEASE READ 🙏 I react to the Covid vaccine, so please DON’T book if you’ve had one this year. Caring for the environment is important to me: almost everything is locally sourced where possible, organic and chemical free; including the mattress and bedding. I have 2 double rooms available; this one is on the ground floor of my victorian terraced house. Light and spacious with desk, chest of drawers & wood burning stove. Use of stove for folks who know exactly how ( happy to help). The stove makes the room super warm and cosy. Logs provided for first night, then £10 per bag or as needed. Please leave shoes in the hallway. Please leave the shower clean. No takeaways in the room: thank you. No food in the bed ☺️ Many thanks 🙏 Guest access There is tea and coffee in the room and a small fridge so you can be self contained. I’m open and friendly, happy to share my knowledge of the area having lived here for many years. The kitchen and living area is my personal space where I see clients, write, and share with friends and family. It’s mostly not available for guests; I can be flexible around this: please ask. During your stay I like to give guests the space they need help to fulfill their goals for being here. I live with my adult son, and we are usually quiet and self contained. Other things to note The 5th of November is an incredible night in Lewes. It’s my favourite day of the year! I’m a member of a Bonfire society and will be marching and having lots of fun. The price is higher due to the popularity of Lewes bonfire night. And there’s an amazing view of the fireworks at the bottom of the road. Also, Lewes is wonderful on Halloween and the street becomes a hive of creativity: films projected, installations and fancy dress!
