On the railway line opposite the station in Velp is Dalenstein, a monumental villa from 1865. Here we would like to welcome you to De Blauwe Kamer, a spacious studio (60m2) with a large balcony (30m2) overlooking a monumental weeping beech and the Velp station. The house has an area of 500m2 with parking. Due to its central location, you can walk to the center of Velp in 5 minutes. Nature reserve De Posbank, De Veluwe, Open Air Museum, Burgers Zoo and Arnhem city center are nearby. The space The Blue Room is large and spacious, has an authentic look and breathes the grandeur of yesteryear. The room has its own shower, toilet and kitchenette, with 2 burner stove, oven, fridge, microwave, pans, etc. The room also has a large private balcony with a seat for sultry summer evenings. In the room you will be welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and delicacies. The coffee (dolce gusto) and tea are free. The room has a large double box spring bed, a smart TV with complete channel program, incl. Netflix) and a DVD player with a wide selection of DVDs. The room has its own WiFi. In the old hunting cabinet in the room, you will find a small library with literature, design and children's books and board games. The room also has an attractive decorative fireplace (cannot be turned on) with a chimney. Guest access The Blue Room and its kitchenette are entirely for guests of the Blue Room itself. The kitchenette is equipped with an oven, refrigerator, countertop, 2 burner induction hob and microwave. The Blue Room has a double and a single bed (box spring) and an en-suite bathroom. Other things to note We (Iris and Jeroen) live in the house with our two children (Lola 15 years old and Pijke 11 years old). Because the house is very large, you will not be bothered by us. You have access to The Blue Room, private kitchenette and bathroom ensuite. You also have access to a large balcony for sultry summer evenings.
