Organic apartment with sauna, fireplace and garden

Welcome to the biosphere reserve of Lower Saxony's Elbe Valley! In addition to restaurants and cafes in the mini-city, you will experience a wonderful environment for cycling a few steps away from the house. Milan and beavers are at home here. In the apartment you will find Scandinavian flair, a small sauna and in the garden a swing bench in the trees. We live creatively and sustainably, build organically, design a small permaculture forest garden and look forward to nature-loving holiday guests! The space The small apartment for 2 guests is located in the rear extension of our 100-year-old, renovated timber-framed house. We only rent to non-smokers. The apartment consists of a living/sleeping room with a fireplace and a kitchenette made of light wood (without a dishwasher). It has its own entrance with access to its own sauna and a new small wellness shower room. The floor was made of light ship planks, the walls are plastered with clay. Not only people sensitive to electrosmog benefit from the friendly charisma, the healthy living climate, the mains disconnection and the possibility of switching off the Wi-Fi independently as required. We have organic latex mattresses throughout the house and (on request) Cotonea organic bed linen. The 1200 m² garden invites you to linger on the swing bench and seating areas. For 2 apartments we have 3 older free bicycles for adults and 2 for children. Unfortunately, the apartment is not barrier-free due to the unpaved access through the garden and steps in front of and in the apartment. If you have any special requests, please feel free to contact us! Guest access A small sandy path leads to your entrance through the garden over the meadow (no paved path). A key box allows you to check in anytime after 4 pm, but we also welcome you personally. Other things to note We only rent to non-smokers. There is no dishwasher and no TV. Please only enter the natural floors with slippers. Because of the clay construction, we ask you to open opposite windows twice a day for ventilation and especially to ventilate the bathroom after showering. No perfumes or strong scented aftershave, please. In summer, the garden water pump causes noise when the garden is watered. The sauna is small, i.e. the upper sauna bench is narrow, at the top it is significantly warmer than on the lower wide bench. Please keep your distance from the sauna stove, which we cannot provide with safety grids for reasons of space, i.e. use the sauna only sober and at your own risk. The house is situated in the town of Bleckede on the Elbe river bank road. During rush hour and on sunny Sundays, vehicle noise disturbs the peace in the garden, even if it remains quiet inside through double windows.
