The River House

We are seasoned travelers & love Airbnb-Welcome to our warm cozy mtn home with a riverfront view, fireplace & Great Room! Great location on the Bus Route, 25 min bus ride to Snowmass/Aspen Mtn for skiing, shopping & award winning Restaurants! Your hosts Cindy & KC have lived & worked in the Customer Service Industry in Aspen/Roaring Fork Valley for 30+ years. We are open minded, progressive, 420 friendly, pro-immigrant, & love our gay friends. Make sure to read everything under guest access. The space Our house is on the Roaring Fork river, and is great for catch and release fishing right off our back deck. The Airbnb guest room is called "The Italian Room" and has a queen size Simmon's Beautyrest pillowtop mattress for extra support and comfort. A private bathroom is attached to the guest room. We occasionally (3-4 times a year) cat sit our neighbor's cat, Monty...so there will be cat dander in the house. Guest access Guests will be given their own code to the keyless entry for the house 24 hours prior to arrival. Guests are welcome to utilize their bedrooms/bathroom, main living room, dining room, great room, the mudroom for coats, shoes and boots. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the mudroom for leftovers. Guests are welcome to enjoy a "self- service" Continental breakfast. This may include bagels and cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, English muffins and jam & fruit. We offer coffee in 2 ways - a French press or a cooktop espresso coffee maker. We are happy to give instructions on how to utilize the coffee maker of your choice. During your stay We are always available to our guests either in person, email, text or phone call. Other things to note We have a tankless water heater, and it takes a while for the hot water to reach the faucets and shower. You need to run the water for about a minute to have hot water, the upside is endless hot showers! Also, please wipe the grab bars and shower head and controller in the shower when done as we have very hard water. In addition, we are a shoes off house and no shoes are allowed beyond the mudroom. Also - no food or drink in the bedroom.
