The space This lovely stone house, built in 1895, was one of the first on Kamares Bay. Up until 1960, my grandfather, the well-known Greek painter and cartoonist Stamatis Polenakis, gradually added more rooms and terraces. A well-planned, well-designed home with lovely indoor and outdoor living spaces and picturesque spots for dining, relaxing, or entertaining. The house is located near the port and has a panoramic view of Kamares Bay as well as a large outdoor space with a garden and beautiful vegetation. A two-minute walk takes you to the beach and restaurants. This family home offers three beautifully designed bedrooms, each featuring a stunning sea view, top-quality mattresses, and brand-new beds for a restful stay. Bedroom 1 (main floor): One double bed and one single bed Bedroom 2 (main floor): Two single beds that can be joined into a seamless queen-size bed Bedroom 3 (first floor): One double bed All three bedrooms come equipped with air conditioning, and there is an additional AC unit in the living room to keep the entire home cool and comfortable. Kamares Bay is a charming village with a stunning "blue flag" sand beach. The village is ideal for spending quality time on vacation. Kamares has stores that sell traditional pottery, supermarkets, and other small shops. You can also rent a car, take the bus or walk to the well-marked paths that lead to other villages and locations and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sifnos.
