Sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms (best for 4 adults+2 children). Fully renovated inside with modern comforts, quirky artwork and thoughtful touches. The deck is perfect for wildlife watching and the sunken hot tub is ready for starry nights. The space Relax and unwind with country walks, a glass of wine on the decking watching the sun set, or a soak in your own private hot hub. Wake up in the morning, put a pot of coffee on and watch the red squirrels having their breakfast outside your huge picture windows. Want to explore the stunning local area and food scene? The local village has a renowned gastro pub, local shop and café and Otterburn is great base to explore the stunning local countryside - as well as the breath-taking Northumberland Coast. Bright, Modern Living Space To Relax In; With big picture windows to the side and front, you can admire the views and the wildlife from the comfort of the jumbo corner sofa. The property is spacious, bright and modern and offers everything you're likely to need to make the most of your stay including books, DVD's, maps and a library of local info and suggestions. Patio doors open onto the decking and the hot tub. Wood Burning Fire; Snuggle up in front of the contemporary wood burner and you might never want to venture outside! (We leave the first of wood to get you started). The Hot Tub and Grounds; Your own private hot tub is sunk into the decking at the front of the property and a great place to watch the sun set. As the cabin is on the edge of the park you aren't overlooked on one side and have views over the adjacent field; you might spot deer running past if you're lucky. Switch off the outside lights on an evening and gaze at the stars from the hot tub in one of the UK's best Dark Skies Areas. With the right conditions it can be quite the spectacle. We're blessed with woodland trails and grounds all around the property - a walk to the rear takes you to a stunning lake with friendly ducks and a picnic area. Wildlife; Meet The Neighbours; If you're patient enough (and don't mind getting up a bit early when they're most active) then you'll almost certainly see our super-cute red squirrels — they’re frequent visitors. If you're lucky you may see deer in the field to the side or in the grounds and the area is also a birdwatchers paradise. Fully Kitted Out Integrated Kitchen & Large Rustic Dining Table; With integrated oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer and large fitted fridge freezer, the modern country style kitchen has all the mod cons you'd expect and all of the appliances, utensils and crockery to keep everyone fed and happy while they sit around the spacious dining table. Wave to the squirrels while you're filling the cafetiere! Relaxing Bedrooms & Bathroom; You'll sleep like a log in our comfy beds and crisp cotton bedding. Our fitted bathroom has an L-shaped bath and over the bath electric shower. (Please note that bedroom 3 is set up a children's room and as such the accommodation isn't really suitable for 6 adults). Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, bedside tables and jumbo built in wardrobes. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, jumbo built in wardrobes and drawers. Bedroom 3 is our kids room with pine bunk beds, side unit and lamps. Bathroom: With electric shower, L shaped bath and modern fittings. Other Amenities; As well as the wood burner, the cabin has electric radiators throughout to keep you nice and toasty. All utensils, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair also provided (and located under the beds) and we also provide kids plates, cups and crockery. The property has a natural water supply from a spring; it can't get much fresher! Guest Access; The accommodation is all on one level with 6 stairs to the door way from the parking bay to the side. There is private parking for 2-3 cars. The Local Area; There is a gastro-type pub in the village ( The William De Percy), as well as a café and general store. There are fantastic local walks and cycle routes in all directions. Kielder water is less than 30 mins in the car, and there are numerous other country houses, beautiful villages and quaint towns all within striking distance. The stunning Northumberland coast (if you want a break from the countryside) is an hour's drive away. We provide a comprehensive guide to the local attractions and amenities (as well as the best places to eat and drink) as well as suggested amenities and maps. Guest access The guests have full access to all areas of the property. The accommodation is all on one level with 6 stairs to the door way from the parking bay to the side. There is private parking for 2-3 cars.
