Orchard House is perfect for a large or extended family with the unique offering of a private and secure orchard. The house offers spacious accommodation over 2 floors with a downstairs double bedroom with en-suite and easy access for guests who may require extra assistance. Just 5 miles from Cambridge, Haslingfield is a pretty village and our home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. The space Our comfortable home includes exclusive use of an orchard which stretches to almost an acre. There are many fruit trees, including apple, pear, plum and damson which you can help yourself to during your stay. The garden has its own marked out badminton court, table tennis, croquet and giant Connect Four (may not be available during the winter months). Additionally there is a sunny patio area to the rear of the house that can be accessed from the lounge. Here you will find tables and chairs and wind-down sun canopies making it an ideal place for outdoor dining. The kitchen offers plenty of room for cooking and includes a fridge freezer, double oven and separate hob and full sized dishwasher. There is a small but extendable round table with chairs for informal dining or children's area which looks onto the more formal dining area with full size table and seating. This area flows into the lounge area where there is a TV and DVD player, small selection of DVDs and a well-stocked book case. The ground floor also has a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, iron, ironing board and extra fridge and freezer. This area is large enough to accommodate your well behaved family dog but we do ask that they do not go on beds or furniture. There are many local dog walking areas in and around the village including a river walk, which we can give you details of. The ground floor bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower room and toilet. There is also a small study area. Upstairs there are 3 more bedrooms all with their own TV. The first bedroom has a double bed and double sofa bed, the second one 2 singles and its own en-suite shower and toilet. The third, dormitory style has 4 single beds. There is a family bathroom with overhead shower. We can provide a cot but please bring your own bedding for this. All beds have duvets, pillows and bedlinen and ample towels. Laundered towels are provided. The house has free Wi-Fi. There is ample parking as the property has its own drive with room for at least 4 cars. We can provide self check-in with use of a keysafe. We allow a maximum of two well behaved dogs who are welcome in the downstairs of the house but NOT upstairs. Guest access You have exclusive access to the property and gardens.
