At times it can be quite fast, you may have to quicken your steps to close some windows. Standing fans are available for use when the windows are closed. It’s the tropics, so please always travel with insect repellent. The water from the faucet is safe to drink, but most tourist usually purchase bottle water. Emerald City located in Six Roads, St. Philip, is the closest supermarket 10 -12 mins drive away. It is one of the island’s top supermarkets with an in house bakery, providing freshly baked bread daily. It also has a deli/food section offering delicious local dishes.
