Holiday home with private jetty and fjord access

BALESTRAND: Welcome to Strondi, our idyllic holiday home! This is a house from 1948. It is located by the sea and very close to Balestrand city center. We have a private jetty and beach where you can enjoy the sun and take a swim in the Sognefjord. From the house and garden there are stunning views of the narrow fjord and the characteristic mountain peaks Vindreken and Keipen. Kayaks are available for a unique fjord experience. The space Strondi is our private holiday home where we spend a lot of time. It is a 5-minute walk to Balestrand city center where you will find restaurants, museums, art galleries, aquarium, boat rental, grocery stores and cafes. Our house has a private jetty and beach and is perfect for families and groups of friends. Here you can spend your days sunbathing, swimming and fishing. We have life jackets for the children and two fjord kayaks available for the adults. Strondi is also close to the hiking trails leading to the spectacular mountains of Balestrand. In winter, there are a number of skiing and cross-country skiing opportunities here. Our house was built in 1948. All rooms, except the kitchen, are newly renovated. The bathroom is new and of high quality. Please note that the stairs in the house are a bit steep. Please note that the kitchen has 1960s standard, is old and worn. But it is well equipped with fridge, stove, dishwasher and various other things. The bathroom (on the ground floor) has a washing machine. If you have a car, please park outside the house. Charging of electric cars from the house is not allowed. But the public charging station is only a few hundred meters away. Finally: Remember that this is a holiday home that is in the family's use, so there are traces of lived life here. But we are convinced that you will relax and enjoy yourself as much as we do here!
