LaLa's place is a cozy, comfortable cottage, in the quiet countryside of Maryville TN, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains! Ideal for couples, small families, Bikers, solo adventures, hikers, kayakers & pet lovers who wish to travel with their SMALL dog. Off rte 129, near the Dragon & Tellico Lake, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains; over the 100 year old bridge, on Nine Mile Creek, on a dead end rd with over 6 acres; surrounded by open pastures. Only 4 miles to town The space LaLa's place is totally your own, a remodeled 700+ sq ft cottage with French doors that enter into an open floor plan, fully functional Kitchen/ livingroom area. The Kitchen is complete with an island with stools, butcher block table/desk, 2 burner induction stove top, refrigerator, microwave, air fryer toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, Livingroom has a smart TV plus a DVD player & limited DVDs ( bring your own or Red Box is close by) & a twin day bed and a twin size red leather lounge couch providing comfort and additional sleeping. The Master bedroom has an overhead fan, a brand new hybrid mattress on a platform queen size bed. The bathroom is accessible from the master bedroom and the living kitchen area; it has a walk in shower and washer/dryer for your personal use. The cottage has Wifi, AC and electric baseboard heat. The Side door opens out onto carport/ porch with table & chairs and a charcoal grill. Also a fire pit and seating are avialible for your use on the grounds over looking our little meadow. You are welcome to walk the entire property (over 6 acres) and 1/4 mile over the bridge & up the very private road. Guest access LaLa's Place is your own private cottage which is conveniently located in all directions, up 129 to Tellico Lake, Abrams Creek Campground with access to the Great Smoky Mountains, the Foothills Parkway, known for its incredible scenic views, the Dragon Harley Davidson , the world famous "Dragon" (11 miles ~318 hairpin turns!), Antique shops, Townsend with tubing, horse back riding, zip lining and the entrance to the quiet side of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Cade's Cove area. In the other direction you can easily access the Foothills Mall, Multiplex movie Theater, grocery stores, the number 1 Harley Davidson destination with 'The Shed' known for concerts, The City of Maryville, McGee Tyson Airport, University of Tennessee (UT) , & the city of Knoxville. And let's not forget that the Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg area is only an hours drive away. Other things to note Reach out and let us know if you are bringing your small pet and please know a small additional fee will be charged. Please let us know your arrival time ( text or call). Late arrival please text & let us know so we can give you the code for the lock box where your entrance key will be. K cups provided, but if you like bring your favorite. Smoking is not allowed inside, or near the doorways ~ please, please, please be respectful. We do provide a Designated smoking area outside under carport. Mostly enjoy your stay!
