Spacious detached Swedish cottage

The house has a great location on the edge of a small town with views overlooking the town. It has both easy access to town amenities, and direct access to the forest. On the short quiet street there is a community heritage homestead at one end serving light snacks on weekdays, and a newly finished children's play park at the other end. It is only a short distance away from the many lakes and places of natural beauty! Come and explore! The space The house welcomes guests to a cosy place of contentment and has all you might need for a comfortable stay. There are two large bedrooms, one with a superking-sized bed, walk-in wardrobe, balcony and additional bed. The second has two comfortable single beds which couple together as a superking if needed. The sofabed on the upstairs landing can also be used to sleep two. Downstairs there is an open-plan living/dining area with two separate seating areas in which to relax. Furnishings include a smart TV (for internet use only, i.e. currently without tv tuner), a piano and a dining table seating up to eight people! There is also a fully equipped dining-kitchen with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, and a full range of utensils. Our wifi is connected to a super-fast fibre-optic broadband service. Known as Wi-Fi6, this newest protocol boasts being the best domestically available today. We understand it is faster, more capable, more powerful and more efficient. For example, it is promoted as having shorter or no delay times as data is sent, havimg fewer dead zones, where multiple devices are better managed, etc, etc! The house is heated by a geothermal heat pump, but it also has two wood-burning stoves with ample firewood for an extra cosy stay! The lawned garden contains a summer-house with an additional two beds for summer use. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and garden, with use of all its amenities! There are five bicycles for guests' use stored in the garage shed (or two kick-sledges for depths of winter), and in the basement there are some downhill and cross-country skis with boots, ice skates and assorted fishing tackle, including equipment for ice fishing. Additionally, we have a 3-person open canoe available for guests' use from late spring to early autumn, situated by a lake about 40km (35 min) away. Other things to note There is a keysafe outside the property to access house keys. Smoking, vaping, and the wearing of outdoor footwear is not permitted within the house.
