The space Welcome to our beautifully restored 19th-century stone boathouse in Isternia, Tinos. This 150 m², two-story home combines modern comforts with traditional charm and features stunning views of the Aegean and nearby islands. Located in the heart of the village, it offers a tranquil, car-free environment. Parking is available just a 5-minute walk away, 140 steps from the house, or half the distance if you park in the new lot. Key features: - Stunning south-facing views with spectacular sunsets and protection from northerly winds. - Close to amenities: Mini-market, two village taverns, and the renowned bars “Exomeria” and “Mayou.” - 3 km from a beautiful sandy beach sheltered from the wind. Accommodation details: Ground floor: - Large bedroom with 2 queen-size beds and en-suite bathroom. - Bedroom with a queen-size built-in bed and en-suite bathroom. Second floor: - Fully equipped kitchen (filter coffee machine, moka pot, orange squeezer, dishwasher, pots, and pans). - Living room with sofas and dining table for 8. -WC for visitors. Outdoor space: - Veranda with a large dining table and built-in benches for al fresco dining. Guest access During the summer, Tinos offers easy access to nearby islands like Mykonos, Syros, Santorini, and Andros. Some European airports have direct flights to these islands, and you can then reach Tinos by boat. From Rafina Port, there are also speed boats to Tinos twice daily (approx. 2 hours 15 minutes). The boathouse is just a 20-minute drive from the harbor. There are three parking lots available, each offering a different path to the center of the village and the house. The walk takes 5 to 10 minutes depending on the lot you choose, with a few steps to climb along the way Other things to note - For hot water, you’ll need to turn on the boilers using the switches near the kitchen and small bedroom doors. It takes about 15 minutes to heat up. Remember to switch them off when you’re done. - Cleaning fee is payable in cash upon arrival. For stays longer than one week, additional cleaning is required. - Beach umbrella and beach toys for children provided, but beach towels are not included. - Exterior connection between floors adds to the home’s traditional summer charm but may allow dust, especially on windy days.
