Close to Durham, Barnard Castle, Teesdale and Weardale as well as the beautiful Northumberland Coast. Everything you could wish for and more! The space The buildings are both single storey. The main building has underfloor heating throughout with a spacious open plan living, kitchen, dining area with a picture window with an amazing view. In summer on a Saturday evening this gives a perfect view of the Kynren firework display. The beds in the Byre are antique brass bedsteads with deep comfy mattresses. The original beams are on view and the stone building itself has been renovated in its original form. The cosy annex building, the Hemmel, has two brightly furnished bedrooms and a wet room / bathroom. In each of the two buildings there is a kingsize bed and a twin bedroom; a maximum of eight guests which provides a great opportunity for families and groups of friends to meet up. The outside space has a raised fenced area with the log fired hot tub looking out towards the south, artificial grass and garden bench. There is a spacious gravelled parking area and paved patio with large patio table and chairs for lazy mornings and evenings drinking wine. The two buildings are let as one and are secluded and private. Guest access Guests have access to the whole space, there are no shared areas.
