A year round destination, cosy cottage to enjoy and relax. There is also a hot tub at the backyard terrace, available for some extra cost. Two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, traditional Finnish sauna and a cosy fireplace room with a bunk bed. Perfect for couples, friends and families. Housetrained dogs (max 2 ) are welcome. The space This cosy and tastefully decorated holiday house is situated by the lake, surrounded by the beautiful nature in the Finnish Lake District. You can enjoy the nature by picking wild berries and mushrooms and by walking and wandering in the woods, and of course swimming and fishing in the lake. During the winter time you can also enjoy skiing and fishing on frozen lake or visit the skiing resorts nearby. Furthermore, there are lots of historic destinations, churches, galleries and museums to visit in Mikkeli area, as well as cafes and restaurants to enjoy locally produced food and drinks. During your holiday all electricity and heating is inclusive. Notice, that the hot tub is not included in the rent but it can be booked with extra cost. Guest access The house is spacious with a private beach and a big garden. There is also a private play ground (sandpit, swings and a climbing frame) in the garden of the house. Near the house there is a shed for firewood. In addition to this, there is also a nice patio behind the house including garden furniture, BBQ , hot tub and a wonderful scenery to the lake. The boat is also included in the rent. Please notice, that the hot tub is not included in the rent but it can be booked with extra cost. Other things to note The final cleaning is not included in the rent. You can clean the house yourself or book a final cleaning from us, the cost is 120 euros. We also kindly like to remind you that bedlinen and towels are not included in the rent. You can bring your own or book from us, that is 15 euros/person. You need a car to come and go as this is a rural getaway in the heart of beautiful countryside, by a lake. You can take max 2 housetrained dogs with you but please rememeber, that they are not allowed to sleep on the sofas/beds. Remember to keep your dog on the leash when walking the village roads. You also have to bear in mind that you as the owner are responsible for all the damages dogs might cause during your stay. When leaving the house, remember to also clean the yard and the surroundings from the dog waste.
