The space This 3 bedrooms + office + large rec room/3.5 bath gem of a home has a huge, sunny Great Room looking out onto towering trees, with a gourmet kitchen (6 burner stove), dining room (expandable table with seating for 12), breakfast bar, and large comfy living room with gas fireplace. One bedroom, one office with a pullout couch, 1.5 baths upstairs; two bedrooms, two full baths downstairs, plus huge rec room with gas fireplace, wet bar, pull out couch, and efficiency kitchen that can be utilized as a bedroom, a separate studio, or a kid's playroom. Large private hot tub with amazing jets in the 1.1 acre private backyard, and 6-person barrel sauna on upstairs deck. This 3200+ sf house is perfect for large gatherings. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite full bathrooms, one of those baths also has an entrance from the hallway. The upstairs and downstairs living rooms both have gas fireplaces that add warmth and ambiance to your family’s and friends’ celebration and hang out time. The dining room table expands to seat 12. Large screen TVs in both the living room and rec room. The upstairs master has a king bed and huge private bathroom with jetted tub and slate shower with dual showerheads. The two downstairs bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, have queen beds. One of these bedrooms also has bunk beds. The upstairs office has an extra-comfy Queen XL sleeper couch (American Leather sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress), as well as a desk/office space. The rec room has also has a couch that pulls out to be a double bed. Full laundry room downstairs. The exterior house can serve as a relaxing spa retreat or a kid's playground. Extra large hot tub with powerful jets, 6-person sauna, outdoor cedar shower, water feature, and a large patio with plenty of comfy patio furniture to relax offer spa vibes. Kids keep themselves busy with the treehouse, zipline, swings, and horseshow pit. Backyard includes large fenced area for easy containment of dogs and kids. Patio comes equipped with large propane grill, dining table, patio furniture, and propane fire pit for evening entertainment. Amazing location - less than 10 minutes to Northstar, 20 minutes to Palisades, and a short 3 minute drive to downtown Truckee. Walk or bike on the paved Legacy Trail (plowed in the winter!) along the Truckee River to downtown. Huge flat driveway with parking for 10+ cars. No major hills to get to and from our house - avoid the Northwoods Dr. Winter craziness! In the wintertime, cross-country ski or snowshoe on the golf course right out the backdoor, or walk to the sledding hill on the golf course. Summertime fun includes a treehouse, zipline, swings, hammock, private stream and waterfall, and huge backyard. Short 10 min walk to the regional park for the Tuesday farmers' market and Wednesday Music in the Park. Gourmet kitchen includes all you need for cooking for your group, and plenty of dishes, silverware, mugs, and glasses for groups of 12+. 6-burner stove with extra-large oven, granite counters, extra-large refrigerator, prep sink, dishwasher, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, microwave, and separate beer and wine fridges downstairs. Easy access to propane grill on the deck right outside the kitchen. Well-behaved dogs welcome with a $25/night/pet fee. We can also connect you with our amazing dog-walker if needed. Organic linens and towels, extra pillows and blankets, and super-comfy mattresses on all beds. No smoking anywhere on the property! Guest access You will have the entire house and 1+ acre lot all to yourselves! Other things to note Please note: this house is our home year-round, and is only rented when we are on vacation. There will be some evidence of this during your stay (clothes in some closets, dry food in kitchen cabinets, etc.), but the house will be professionally cleaned and tidied before your stay. Each room is equipped with 2 luggage racks, and there will be some closet and dresser space available.
