Thornborough Mill Cottage

Mill Cottage set in an idilic yard shared with Thornborough Mill and Mill House. A Private self contained unit with the Great Ouse River running alongside. A peaceful and tranquil place to stay if you love the sound of water and enjoy watching the wildlife go by. Footpaths nearby. Buckingham, 3.5 miles and Silverstone, 9 miles. Great links to London from Milton Keynes, 15 mins by car and then trains to London Euston 35mins. Local pub a 20 minute walk away. The space With water front access to the Gt Ouse, you can sit and watch as nature is busy doing it's thing, whilst time drifts by. There is a footpath running through the property that can take you on a circular walk. We have a few acres that guests are welcome to explore. Find the tree house, or you can sit with wifi at the summer house where you will almost feel as though you may have an "Out of Africa" experience with the cattle grazing the plains on the far bank! Other things to note For the adventurous, and for a small fee to my son, he will prepare Kayaks that can be navigated up river along the Great Ouse. Slow moving water with an abundance of wildlife. Vary occasionally wild otter may be seen! There are also bikes that can be hired, again for a small fee to my son for which he will prepare them. Perfect for the adjoining lanes and to visit the local pub.
