There, in the heart of the regional natural park of the baronies, overlooking a secret and green valley, 23 km from Nyons, at the end of a winding road that leads nowhere else than to this stone hamlet, the Maison d'Elhora is revealed. The space Imagine… summer, holidays, sun, idleness… head south… more precisely the South of the Drôme, where a mixture of wild landscapes reigns, alternating arid mountains and olive groves, a place of preserved tranquility, burning heat, intense light and starry nights, a place lulled by the song of cicadas, filled with intoxicating smells, lavender and thyme, southern flavors, olives, oil and prestigious wines… a land of ancestral traditions and simple people. The scene is set! Imagine… crossing the heavy gate, you are left speechless by the panoramic view that awaits you from the garden where 2 olive trees and a century-old almond tree majestically stand. A gray wooden walkway runs through the lawn and invites you to head towards the house and its terrace, perfect for long summer evenings… an ideal vantage point to admire the sumptuous sunsets that plunge in the distance, all the way back to the silhouettes of the bluish mountains of the Southern Prealps. There, on your right, the covered terrace area generously accommodates 6 to 8 guests for friendly meals. On the practical side, a gas plancha, an antique masonry wood-burning oven to enjoy grilled meats and homemade pizzas, as well as a fridge-freezer are available. Back to the house... the clear Provencal-style facade contrasts with a resolutely modern interior. As soon as you walk through the front door, you enter the kitchen. Modern design, dark colors, oak furniture, large worktop, central island and high-tech equipment. Go down 3 steps, here is the living room with sofa, armchair, glass and oak table… on your right a sliding door opens onto the "String" bedroom (160 double bed) with dresser and clothes rack, in which there is a gentle coolness conducive to long summer naps. Moving to the back… to the right of the entrance, the hallway gives access to the floor via a Japanese-style staircase. In front of you, a large bathroom with dark tones and noble materials with walk-in shower (160 x 90), vanity top and toilet (suspended toilet), completed by a laundry/storage area (MAL drying). Upstairs, on either side of the landing, a bedroom. On the left, the "Lin" master suite (160 double bed) with large storage dresser, light wood wall cabinet and its private bathroom, walk-in shower, totem basin and toilet. Opposite, the "Coton" bedroom with 160 double bed (convertible to 2x80 on request), wall storage closet and light wood dresser. Back in the garden… and the pool, where is it??? The pool (7x3.5), below the garden, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley. Black screen… End of the visit… Totally under the spell and convinced that you have found the ideal place to take a break… far from the hustle and bustle of the city… go ahead, go for it… book… yes, right there, right now, now!
