Close to beaches & a short drive to "town," Honeycomb Cottage is an ideal vacation home. Kitchen is well-stocked, pets are welcome BUT not allowed on furniture; please take your pet when you leave the cottage for any length of time (separation anxiety/potential damage). A $500 refundable damage deposit is required for all bookings. It will be requested as an additional charge, and refunded once the cottage is inspected after check-out, pending no damages. Tourist Establishment License #2202909. The space The cottage is 1600 square feet with front and back yards, wrap-round deck & BBQ. The living area is in the centre and has a large, high hexagon-shaped ceiling (hence "Honeycomb Cottage"). The main bedroom and ensuite are off one side of the main living space, and the "guest wing" with two bedrooms, laundry and bathroom is off the other side. All bedrooms have closets and dressers not seen in the photos. **Pets are NOT allowed on furniture, and you must take your pet with you when you leave the cottage for the day. Pets are not to be left alone in the cottage as the separation anxiety causes a lot of undue stress, barking that disturbs neighbours, and messes on the floor and other damage. There is an info sheet with more pertinent information, brochures and suggestions of things to do. There is a TV (no cable, but there is a Chrome Cast for streaming from your phone or tablet). Possibly available for longer-term rentals. Guest access Close to many beaches, and a short drive to Charlottetown, golf courses, and Cavendish. It is just a couple of minutes walk from the cottage to the shore of Tracadie Bay, which is fine for wading, beach-combing, or kayaking (not a sandy beach, but there are lots close by!). There are some stores nearby with some food and convenience items, but to fully stock up on groceries you will most likely need to go the a big grocery store (Superstore or Sobeys) in Charlottetown. Local seasonal stores include Jewell's Country Market in Marshfield, The Shore Market at Covehead Harbour in the National Park (really awesome!); Lily's Convenience and the Irving and Ultramar Gas Stations in Dunstaffnage, Scotchfort and Mount Stewart are open year-round. ALSO, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and can offer private yoga classes, mindfulness and meditation for an extra relaxing vacation!
