Be prepared: • Carry chains or have 4WD/AWD with winter tires (REQUIRED) • Driveway can become icy – drive slowly and carefully • Check weather forecast before driving • Allow extra time for travel • Report any issues to host immediately MOUNTAIN LIVING EXPECTATIONS • Elevation: ~6,250 feet (may affect some guests) • Weather can change within minutes (bring layers) • You may encounter wildlife (bears, deer) – this is normal in the mountains • Keep food secured inside; never leave food outside or in your car • Enjoy the peace and quiet – limited cell service in some areas LOCAL ORDINANCES • Quiet hours: 10 PM – 6 AM (per South Lake Tahoe County law) • No hot tub use during quiet hours • Respect neighbors on our peaceful street PARKING & DRIVEWAY • Spacious driveway fits 2-3 vehicles • Winter: driveway may be icy (we keep it cleared, but weather changes rapidly) • Street parking available if needed (not available during the winter, or when there is snow).
