Guest suite in Snetterton

My converted barn is in Snetterton village, ideal for Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridge. Located down a no through country road, but with the A11 just two mins away you will not believe how secluded you feel tucked away from the world The room is bright & spacious, with walk in en suite shower, with food prep area and has direct access onto the garden & patio area. You access the room directly from outside, so you can come & go to suit, your own private entrance The space The Garden Room’s main bed is available as a twin or Super king ** Please state your preferred bed configuration at time of booking** The room can then have a Trundle bed ( for one adult) OR camp bunk beds (suitable for two children up to 1.5 meters - please note they are not as high or as long as standard bunk beds and are NOT suitable for adults) Please note , that the table and one chair will be removed to accommodate these options Therefore the room can accommodate 3 adults and one small child ( in a cot or on a ready bed) or 2 adults, 2 children and one small child (in a cot or on an ready bed) Just state what you require when you book **Bookings for four / five adults will not be accepted as the room is not suitable ** When used as a family room the Garden Room provides a base to explore the area , it is a guest suite in the corner of the main house and not an entire apartment, but perfect if you are out and about for the day and looking for an economic base for the family The Garden Room opens directly on to the garden and patio area so no need to disturb any one - you can come and go as you please Set within a rural hamlet yet only two mins from the main A11 , The room in my converted barn is private and en suite With on site parking . There is a walk down the garden to reach the room, however Betty the wheelbarrow is always on hand to help with your bags , if there are no humans around! A torch is provided in the room for you to borrow during your stay, but if you are arriving after dark it may be useful for you to bring your own torch as we are in a dark sky area With your own patio you can sit under the tree and while away an hour but for the more adventurous when you are ready to explore its all on your doorstep! The room has ; - en suite with wet room with rainfall shower, toilet & wash basin - a lovely roll top desk - Smart television with built in DVD player (own Netflix account req) - tea and coffee making facilities - a small fridge freezer - a mini oven and microwave - crockery & cutlery There is no communal space or full kitchen, (although you have everything you need except the kitchen sink!) the above facilities enable you to make basic meals or enjoy a takeaway etc in the comfort of your room Airbnb does not have the facility to acknowledge if a bed can be one super king or split to make two single beds , so counts both , please be advised that you cannot get any more than 3 actual beds in the accommodation , but they could be different depending on your requirements 1 parking space is allocated , additional space for further vehicles is subject to availability ***Guests arriving on the same day as booking*** If your booking is on the same day as arrival - please contact me (telephone number will be on your booking confirmation) to arrange a check in time - as i may need to change the bed configuration to suit your requirements and the 3pm check in may not be possible Guest access Enjoy the garden, and patio, I have another two holiday lets which are at the other end of the garden , you do have to walk past their garden area however, There is still a large garden area for your own private use Other things to note There is a cycle / bike loop to allow guests to secure their bikes or motorcycles in the car parking area Wi Fi is available however due to the rural location the signal strength can be a bit hit and miss at times , it may be advisable to download things before you arrive , fine for checking emails etc The Garden Room @ The Old Barn is in a small hamlet of 11 houses, the nearest pub ( The Angel Inn, Larling) is 1 mile away and the nearest convenience store is 3 miles away in East Harling. - check out the Guidebook information for lots of info about facilities and attractions in the local area Snetterton Race Circuit is less than 1 mile from the barn, great if you have a track day or are visiting the area to watch the racing but if the wind is in the wrong direction you can sometimes hear the circuit from the grounds of The Barn If you are visiting the circuit and have a large vehicle or are towing a trailer, please note that the turning into the drive is a little tight, vans and cars towing bike trailers are usually ok , however experience says those with car trailers will struggle and are not suitable - For large vehicles I would recommend going past the drive, turning round at the end of the lane and approach from the opposite direction, but best to message before booking if you are bringing one of these
