The space This self contained single storey barn conversion sits in the village of Redmile, just 1.5miles from Belvoir castle. It has a private rear garden and a cottage garden to the front. LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN AREA The front door leasds directly into a hallway and into the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The lounge area has a TV with Freeview channels and a wood burning stove as well as two settees. The dining area has a table and four chairs. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes a fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, electric hob and oven. A teapot and cafetiere are provided. A Breakfast Welcome Pack of food and drink for your first one or two breakfasts is supplied; consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter and preserves as well as half a dozen free range eggs from next door's chickens (when available). Please note that this building is an old converted barn with exposed beams and a log-burning stove. SHOWER ROOM The hallway leads to the spacious shower room, with a toilet and washbasin. There is room for a wheelchair access, should it be required. The shower has a secure grab rail for those who need it. Dressing gowns and a hairdryer are provided. THE BEDROOMS Further along the hall are the two bedrooms; one twin and one double. Each bedroom also has a dressing table, mirror, chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a bedside shelf. All linen and towels are provided. OUTDOOR SPACE From the lounge area double doors open out onto an L-shaped decked area, with a table, chairs and sunshade. There is parking for two vehicles on the private driveway. LOCAL AREA The cottage is in a village location, with a gourmet pub (The Windmill Inn - open 7 days a week) and a children's play park, a short walk along the main street. The Grantham canal towpath is easily accessible from the edge of the village and there are many footpaths in the area. Belvoir Castle and The Engine Yard retail village are just 1.5 miles from the village of Redmile. Local villages such as Bottesford (3 miles) and Bingham (6 miles) have both small local shops, markets and larger supermarkets for supplies. Guest access Green Man Cottage has its own private garden and the cottage is accessed via a shared driveway. We ask that guests park courteously on the driveway specifically to the side of Green Man Cottage. This allows vehicular access and turning to the other properties on site. Other things to note We welcome well behaved children, but do not have any items such as a high chair or a travel cot to accommodate babies.
