Studio for two on top of Etna

In the Etna Park at 1750 meters above sea level, an ideal location for excursions on the Etna South side. The apartment is located just 50 meters from the cross-country ski slopes and 3 km from Piazzale Sapienza, the starting point for excursions to the central crater. If you love nature, you're in the right place! In winter, the absolute protagonist is snow, in summer you can make beautiful excursions to the top of the volcano. The space The accommodation is for two people. It is a studio apartment with a fireplace, renovated in 2017. It is part of a residence in the mountains, the Residence Serra la Nave, consisting of 14 apartments with two to 11 beds. It is located on the ground floor and consists of a single room with a double bed and fireplace, kitchenette and toilet. Guest access You can access the common areas, the condominium courtyard, where you can park, and the common laundry room. Other things to note There are no shops and supermarkets in the surrounding area, so I recommend shopping in the nearby town of Nicolosi, which is about 15 km from our property. During the low season (from 09/15-12/15 and from 03/15-06/15) you may be the only guests in the property. However, the location is very safe and we will always be reachable by phone. During the winter period (from 12/15-03/15) the consumption of gas for heating, hot water and cooking is included up to a maximum established on the basis of an average consumption (4 cubic meters/day). The extra is accounted for separately after reading the meter on arrival and at the end of the stay, taking into account that one m3 is equivalent to 4.166 liters of gas and the price of the latter is €1.10 per liter. Also keep in mind that the basket of wood for the fireplace, present inside the accommodation, is an extra and will cost €10.00 if it is used. Bring warm clothing.
