Family farmhouse, gite with pool 'La Garenterie'

Welcome to rural Calvados, France. It's a great place to relax and unwind with an abundance of wildlife as the only distraction. The house is rural but we are only 15 minutes from Vire and an hour drive from the coast and most tourist attractions in Lower Normandy. Food can be arranged for your arrival, breakfast or a fridge full of supplies. We can be flexible about most things so please send a message with any requests! The above ground pool is available between June and September. The space The house is bright and airy with lots of space for the family and kids. We hunt for vintage items locally and restore them so you will find a cool mix of old and modern in the house. We are happy to accommodate up to 2 younger children in low single beds in the family double room. There is a private 16ft above ground pool for all bookings between June and September. We live in the adjoining barn so are always on hand if you need anything...if you don't you'll hardly know we're there as your privacy is our priority! Guest access Enter into our shared driveway with plenty of parking. The house enjoys it's own private entrance and enclosed garden just past our adjoining barn. Please enjoy the space and use it as your own. Let us know if there is anything specific you need - we can supply pool towels, travel cots, high chair, booster toilet seat, night lights, baby bath, Gro clock and sink steps for children. Other things to note All shops are closed in France on a Sunday so please come prepared for a Saturday arrival! Supermarkets are open until 7.30pm on a Saturday.
